Gables Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Cape Harbor in Wilmington, NC. The role focuses on keeping the community well-maintained and delivering a high-quality living experience for residents.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs, with on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis throughout the year. Experience in building maintenance and preventative tasks is preferred, supporting the community’s appearance and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, unit inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Comfortable working on call on a rotational basis all year round.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community and apartment homes to meet Gables standards.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.
• Inspect units and conduct preventative maintenance tasks.

From touch-up paint to plumbing and electrical repairs you approach obstacles head-on.
