Odyssey House Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role supports maintenance, repairs, and renovations across HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, and grounds to keep facilities in top condition.

The position reports to the Director of Facilities and is non-exempt. It offers a comprehensive benefits package, tuition eligibility, paid training, monthly incentives, health insurance, and an on-demand pay option.

• Assist in building code inspections and licensure compliance, including City, County, and State Fire and Health inspections and Joint Commission.

Compensation and Schedule : $22.50 per hour Monday - Friday

Requirements

Experience/Skills Required:

This position offers the right candidate a flexible work schedule in an environment of collaboration with other facilities managers at other locations. We seek a person with a passion for repairs and maintenance, yard maintenance, painting, and generally making our facility a pleasant place for our residents. Experience in repairs, plumbing, HVAC, yard and building maintenance, construction, and electrical work preferred. Position requires lifting and the ability to maneuver on ladders and in confined spaces.

Required:

• Willingness and ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving history
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• First Aid and CPR Certification (available at Odyssey House)
• Must comply with annual TB tests, flu, and Covid immunization
• Must meet employment eligibility
• Must be able to work variable shifts as needed

Roles requiring driving are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and valid Utah driver’s license.
