Job summary

JOSEPH PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT LLC is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional for on-site work in West Allis, WI. You will complete repair orders, prep units, and coordinate vendors, while performing routine maintenance and overseeing contractors as needed.

This full-time role requires HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, EPA certification preferred, and a commitment to safety and reliability, including after-hours emergency response.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to use computer software programs.
• Experience in maintenance or related fields.
• Proficient with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Snow removal for East Side properties.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and blueprints.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and handle physical workload.

Responsibilities

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion.
• Be courteous, polite, and efficient at all times.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including coordination of third-party vendors.
• Estimate time and extent of repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Maintain material and supply inventory.
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary.
• Available to respond to emergency calls after hours.
