Qualifications

• Demonstrate experience following instructions and providing effective communication.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all plant equipment.
• Perform facility housekeeping duties per Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Recognizing and reporting safety, food safety, and quality issues.

Job Description:

Earn up to $30.75 per hour.

The Maintenance Technician at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all plant equipment
• Performing facility/work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies and procedures
• Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality
• Being responsible for recognizing and reporting people safety, food safety, and/or quality issues
  
  

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd shift (12:00am-8:00am) Weekends off are on a rotating monthly schedule.

About You:

• Demonstrate experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Forklift experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
