SERVPRO of East Mahoning County is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain production machinery and facility equipment on site. You will perform repairs, read manuals and schematics, diagnose issues, and conduct preventative maintenance in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Effective oral communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Repair equipment during production and perform maintenance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test adjustments.

Essential Job Functions

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for highly diversified duties including:

• Maintain production machines and facility equipment
• Provide repairs of equipment during production and maintain machine services
• Offer mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinery
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics
• Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, and test and make any necessary adjustments to equipment when needed
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machine, equipment and plant facilities
• Operate a variety of hand and power tool, electric meters and material handling equipment
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Perform all other duties assigned or needed

Qualifications

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Previous experience in machinery or related fields
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Must be able to life/move objects that weigh up to 50lbs unassisted
• Reliable mode of transportation
• Drive a forklift
• Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines
• Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Exposure to chemicals
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
