Overview

SCCI is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Surface Combat Systems engineering, including development, activation, lifetime support maintenance, configuration management, and tactical training. This role is critical for maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of our combat systems. The position supports future work expected in 2026 and may require occasional travel. It is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities for Combat Simulation Systems
• Lead the development and review of combat system design, acquisition, and installation plans
• Conduct testing and evaluation of simulation systems to meet operational requirements
• Provide lifetime support maintenance to ensure systems function optimally
• Manage configuration changes and updates to simulation systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and functionality of simulation systems
• Develop and deliver tactical training programs related to simulation system maintenance

Essential Skills and Experience

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance
• High School diploma
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Surface Combat Systems engineering, including development, activation, lifetime support maintenance, configuration management, and tactical training
• Certification in fiber optics repair
• Strong understanding of simulation systems engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in scenario development and scripting
• Proven ability to operate and maintain complex systems
