## Maintenance TechnicianApplyremote type: On Sitelocations: Union, Missouritime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R7883**MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - NIGHT SHIFT****SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:**The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairs on manufacturing equipment, secondary equipment, printers, etc. Also able to perform adjustments, preventative maintenance.**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Must be able to proficiently understand machines, conveyance equipment, and auxiliary equipment to diagnose malfunctions, and to affect repairs.* Troubleshoots and locates the source of the problem by observing the operation of the equipment.* Consult OEM manuals to identify proper equipment specific procedures, parts identification, troubleshooting, etc.* Perform adjustments and setups on a variety of equipment in support of production and in accordance with the company developed documents and all safety procedures.* Maintain a clean and safe work area and report/ correct all unsafe working conditions.* Read, use and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools.* Perform all required necessary preventive maintenance on equipment.**EDUCATION:****Preferred:** Degree in Industrial technology**EXPERIENCE:****Required** High School Diploma, experience in maintenance of production machinery or facility.**SKILLS:****Required:** Basic knowledge extrusion, vacuum systems, material transfer, air systems, preventative maintenance, building maintenance, forklifts & safety equipment.**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (if applicable):**The physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Maintenance Mechanic job.
