Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines to manufacture product which conforms to quality specifications at the rated output.
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance.
• Notify Quality Representative and crew leader/s supervisor of quality problems.
• Repair, adjust and troubleshoot machinery, including dismantling, replacement of parts and reassembling.
• Seek assistance from engineers, controls group, tool room, etc., as necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of all products produced in the department and required raw materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation (PPH, OEE, scrap/waste, SAP and MES transactions).
• Notify crew lead/supervisor of issues with equipment or operators and help develop corrective strategy.
• Handle projects of moderate scope, coordinating between vendors and plant manufacturing functions.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks as assigned by crew lead.
• Work with process techs to complete PM tasks and coordinate additional repairs during PM time.
• Determine critical machine repair components and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Propose process improvements to improve cost, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Be familiar with Work Instructions, Forms, and equipment manuals pertaining to operation of all equipment.
• Support business needs by working overtime as necessary to satisfy schedule requirements.
• Assist technical staff on machine modifications/testing and equipment validations.
• Ensure efficient shift transfer through effective communication.
• Participate to achieve department safety goals.
• Debrief accidents and implement solutions to eliminate root cause.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintain accurate documentation (PPH (parts per hour)/OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), scrap/waste, SAP (Business Operation Software) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) transactions, etc.)
• Notify crew lead/supervisor of issues with equipment or operators and help to develop corrective strategy.
• Ability to handle projects of moderate scope, requiring coordination between vendors and plant manufacturing functions.
• Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) tasks assigned by crew lead.
