Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility maintenance for cultivation operations. You will assist the Facility Manager with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and equipment repairs, installation of new equipment, and general building maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, experience with Automated Logic and high voltage systems, and willingness to work 40+ hours with some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Department of Federal Regulation restricts individuals with felony convictions relating to cannabis or assault.
• Must be a proponent of medical cannabis.
• General knowledge and hands-on experience working on a variety of HVAC systems, including packaged roof top units and large split systems.
• General knowledge and hands-on experience working with high voltage electrical, including 480v, 3-phase.
• General knowledge and hands-on experience working with standard plumbing systems.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work in a physically charged environment
• Experience in operation of a variety of equipment and tools, such as forklift, scissor lifts, mowers, and snow removal equipment.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, be able to multi-task and be a self-starter.
• Knowledge of computer automation control systems

• General building maintenance, including but not limited to: commercial door repair, replacement of light fixtures, installation of benches & racking, installation or repair of security & access control systems, roof repairs.

Description

The Maintenance technician is responsible for assisting the Facility Manager with all aspects of facility maintenance, for helping to augment the smooth function and operations of the cultivation facilities of, including other functions as assigned by managers.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance

Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks

Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)

Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions

Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

Work Schedule:

40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
