Job summary

Hansen’s IGA Market in Bangor, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide general maintenance across our store locations, Home Office, and Support Center-Warehouse. This role is on-call during evening hours for urgent repairs.

You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks, communicate repair needs to the Facilities/Grounds Manager, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while assisting with additional maintenance duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

As a part of the Hansen’s IGA Market team, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for delivering “best in class” customer service to all guests by providing general maintenance support and repair to our facilities such as the store locations, Home Office, and Support Center-Warehouse. In addition, the Maintenance Technician will be on-call to provide immediate assistance during evening hours.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve customers in the store while modeling Hansen’s IGA Market culture and providing “best in class” customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their business.
• Providing general maintenance to our facilities and equipment, including, but not limited to, carpentry (repairing structures, furniture and shelves), electrical repair switches, outlets, plugs, and appliances, plumbing (repair leaks, breaks, and clogs) and painting (painting, drywall repair and wall coverings)
• Remain on-call during evening hours to assist with any emergency maintenance needs
• Communicate all repairs, requests, and concerns to the Facilities/Grounds Manager
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist with all other maintenance duties as needed
