Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a maintenance technician to support our Toledo, OH facility. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repair of manufacturing equipment, and ensuring 5S standards are upheld across the floor.

This role requires strong PLC knowledge and experience with six-axis robotics, with shifts on 2nd (2PM–10:30PM) or 3rd (11:00PM–6:30AM). The ideal candidate has at least five years in manufacturing maintenance, an associate degree in a technical field, and the ability

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance schedule for all manufacturing equipment.
• Attend pre/post shift crossover team meetings.
• Perform daily start up and shutdown procedures.
• Repair manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Maintain spare parts inventory for equipment.
• Log project timings and update PM logs.
• Complete required paperwork (shift notes, logs, work orders).
• Monitor installation of new equipment by contractors.
• Maintain and improve 5S standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilizing Total Preventative Maintenance principals develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance schedule for all manufacturing equipment in the T.E.A.M. Systems facility.
• Attend pre shift and post shift crossover team meeting.
• Perform daily start up and shutdown procedures.
• Repair any manufacturing equipment in the event of a failure.
• Maintain a spare parts inventory for all manufacturing equipment in the T.E.A.M. Systems facility.
• Perform necessary in-house projects. Keep and up to date log of the timing of these projects.
• Perform any facility repairs as needed.
• Identify and correct any safety issues inside the T.E.A.M. Systems facility.
• Work with outside companies to perform any required projects that are not completed with internal resources.
• Complete all required paperwork (shift notes, PM logs, work order documents, etc.) as instructed by Team Leader/Manager.
• Monitor installation of new equipment by contractors.
• Maintain and improve our 5S standards.
• 2 Openings: 2nd Shift (2PM - 10:30PM) and 3rd Shift (11:00PM - 6:30AM)

Who we are looking for:

• A minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers.
• Experience with six axis robotics.

• An associate degree in a technical field or five years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
