Maintenance Technicians maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Responsibilities include:

1. Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
2. Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment
3. Ensure necessary tools are on hand
4. Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
5. Maintain the required property uniform to ensure a professional appearance
6. Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times
7. Be available to work on an on-call basis
8. Secure maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
9. Remove snow and ice as necessary
10. Respond to service requests within 24 hours

Requirements:

1. Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools
2. Ability to understand and follow detailed written or oral instructions
3. Effective communication skills
4. Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
5. Property maintenance or handyman experience
