Job summary

Our client in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the steel-based automotive manufacturing maintenance department. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work with pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.

The role involves rebuilding/refurbishing equipment (CNCs, presses, conveyors, feeders and transfers), performing preventive maintenance, and installing new equipment per blueprints.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.
• Experience with MIG and ARC welding.
• Ability to operate maintenance machinery such as Bridgeport, surface grinder, lathe, and drill press, along with precision measuring equipment.
• Must possess own tools needed for the performance of maintenance functions.

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technicianto join their team with experience in steel based Automotive Manufacturing. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Pay Range: $28-30/hr.

Shifts: 5:00am to 3:30pm or 4:00pm to 2:30am.
