Forest Glen Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Springfield, OH is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and fully functional for residents, staff, and visitors. You will assist with building systems, perform routine maintenance, and support safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, repair, or a related trade preferred (healthcare or senior living environment a plus).
• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance, preventative care, and inspections throughout the facility
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
• Support safety and compliance efforts, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and OSHA standards
• Help maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility grounds and equipment
• Assist with vendor/contractor visits and inspections as needed
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and supply usage

Key Responsibilities:
