Highland Management Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Minnetonka Edgewater in Spring Park. This full-time role offers an hourly starting rate of $25 per hour and on-site work at a 82-unit property.

We provide paid training and cover licensing costs, including boiler/CPO licenses, with rewards like health insurance, HSA, PTO, and a generous rental discount for on-site living. Living on-site is optional but encouraged by the rent discount.

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance for multifamily properties.
Willingness to obtain boiler/CPO license; Highland Management Group pays for costs and licensing.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements to uphold resident satisfaction.
Complete maintenance requests from residents via work orders.
Check fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and boilers daily.
Know shut-offs for water, gas, fixtures, and sewer clean-outs.
Maintain cleanliness and repair of vacant units.
Report projected maintenance expenses to the Property Manager.

Maintenance Technician: Minnetonka Edgewater

Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Hourly Rate: Starting at $ 25 per hour

Emergency on-call is optional, lucrative opportunities available if desired.

Boiler/CPO Licenses: These licenses are not a requirement for this position - Willingness to obtain one is. Highland Management Group pays for educational costs, training, and licensing. This includes exam fees!

Highland Management Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to be part of our team at Minnetonka Edgewater in Spring Park. Minnetonka Edgewater is a 82-unit property.

Living on-site is not a requirement for this position, but employees who do choose to live on-site will receive a higher rent discount!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure resident satisfaction through the regular upkeep of the property, including preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement.
Complete Maintenance Requests from residents as received on work orders.
Check fire extinguishers and smoke detectors monthly and check boilers daily.
Have a working knowledge of water and gas meter shut offs, all apartment fixtures shut-off locations, and sewer clean-outs.
Assure the cleanliness and good repair of vacant units.
Check pools (if applicable) and complete miscellaneous inspections & reports.
Report regularly to Property Manager on projected expenses as authorized by manager for maintenance and service.
Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by the managers.
