Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in alignment with predictive, preventative, and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, 5 years in industrial settings, and a proven ability to diagnose problems and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components of machinery.
• Experience maintaining and repairing production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all production machines and facility equipment.
• Diagnose electrical/mechanical problems and replace or repair parts.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs to maximize production uptime.
• Carry out regular preventative maintenance.
• Use basic tools and instruments (multimeter, measuring devices, welding equipment) as needed.
• Assist other maintenance team members.

Job description

A Maintenance technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, or maintain production and facility equipment in accordance with predictive, preventative, and safety guidelines.

General Tasks:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all production machines and facility equipment
• Diagnose electrical/mechanical problems on machinery replace or repair parts
• Make emergency/ unscheduled repairs on production equipment in a timely manner to maximize production
• Perform regular preventative maintenance
• Use machine tools when required, (i.e., multimeter, measuring devices, welding equipment, etc.)
• Assist other maintenance team members

Physical Requirements:

1. Lifting 50+ lbs, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, turning

2. Ability to be on feet for 8+hours

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Preferred Associates in EE or experience in an equivalent field
• 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical components of machinery
• A strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and other relevant machinery
