HTI is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for a direct-hire opportunity with an automotive manufacturing client in Spartanburg, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled multicraft technician with strong robotics, electrical, automated welding, and industrial maintenance experience to join a growing, highly automated manufacturing operation.

Opportunity to work with advanced robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment, robotics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Troubleshoot robot controllers and teach pendants and make programming adjustments as needed
Adjust robot programs and automated welding parameters to improve quality, productivity, and cycle time
Diagnose equipment failures and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
Install and repair electrical components, wiring, transformers, and related equipment
Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems
Maintain and repair robotic and automated welding equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints
Perform root-cause analysis on recurring equipment issues
Partner with Controls Engineering to address chronic reliability and programming issues
Support and mentor other maintenance team members
Associate degree or technical education and/or equivalent industrial maintenance experience
5+ years of related maintenance experience preferred
At least 2 years of robotic programming experience
Experience with Motoman, Siemens, and/or Allen-Bradley systems
Experience programming or troubleshooting 6-axis industrial robots
At least 2 years of experience with automated welding equipment
Strong experience in an automated industrial manufacturing environment
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Experience with PLC/ladder logic troubleshooting
Knowledge of low- and high-voltage electrical systems
Understanding of automated and manual welding, including MIG and TIG
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints
