HTI - Human Technologies, Inc. in Gray Court, SC, seeks an experienced Back Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility. This multi-craft role emphasizes electrical systems while performing hands-on mechanical repairs on automated production and facility equipment.

Direct-hire, night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend. Competitive pay ($31-$38/hr) plus a $2/hr shift differential, full benefits, and vacation time are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical education preferred.
• Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing; high-speed automation or nonwovens a plus.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot three-phase motors, relays, controls, drives, switches, and circuits using a multimeter.
• Mechanical experience replacing bearings and shafts, fabrication, and troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Ability to isolate hardware issues to PLC card and home or reset robots; machine-shop experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and facility equipment.
• Diagnose faulty components, repair or replace parts, test equipment, and adjust.
• Read electrical schematics, OEM documentation, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• Troubleshoot motors, relays, drives, motor controls, switches, and other control devices.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and respond to emergency production breakdowns.
• Replace bearings and shafts, perform fabrication, and complete basic machinist duties.
• Troubleshoot automation hardware, isolate PLC-related issues, and home or reset robots.
• Use tools and electrical meters safely following safety and documentation requirements.

HTI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Gray Court, SC. This multi-craft position will troubleshoot and maintain automated production and facility equipment, with a strong focus on electrical systems while still performing hands-on mechanical repairs. This is a Direct Hire, night-shift opportunity working a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 PM-6:00 AM with every other weekend. The pay range is $31-$38/hr plus a $2/hr shift differential.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical education in maintenance or electrical technology preferred

• Well-rounded multi-craft ability with strong electrical troubleshooting and dependable mechanical repair skills

What Your Role Will Look Like

The Maintenance Technician will support production by completing preventive maintenance, projects, and emergency repairs across two plants. Night-shift technicians work with a small team and must take initiative, stay productive during downtime, and respond quickly when equipment issues arise.
