In this 32-hour per week role, you’ll help maintain appearance, safety, and functionality, delivering a positive living experience for residents.

Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, electrical system repairs, work orders, budgeting support for turnovers and maintenance, and coordinating contractors.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational or trade school certifications are preferred.
• Must provide personal hand tools needed for the position.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Aufgaben

• Repair and replacement of HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, plumbing, electrical, appliances.
• Manage and maintain work orders, turnover of vacant units, and scheduling contractors for estimates and approved contracted work.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including grounds care, common areas, trash and recycling, safety inspections, monthly and quarterly inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining the operating budget for turnovers, R&M, and capex budgeted items.
• Report accidents, emergencies, or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Support additional properties as needed in the assigned area.
• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the repair/replacement processes on HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, plumbing systems, electrical systems, appliances
• Manage and maintain work orders, turnover of vacant units, and scheduling contractors for estimates and approved contracted work
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance tasks to include; grounds care, common areas, trash and recycling, safety inspections, monthly and quarterly inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Assist in maintaining the operating budget for turnovers, R&M, and capex budgeted items
• Report accidents, emergency, or safety concerns to supervisor immediately
• Support additional properties as needed in the assigned area
• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience in residential property maintenance or related preferred
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, carpentry, painting, and grounds care
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact professionally, clearly, and respectfully with residents and team members
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
