Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Salary: $23 to $26 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Position Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
- General carpentry: wallboard, countertops, finish carpentry, window/glass, door/lock, tile repair.
- Preventative maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, and more.
- Manage work orders ensuring timely completion and satisfaction.
- Inspect grounds and amenities for safety and upkeep.
- Assist with emergencies: snow removal, fires, floods.
- Communicate maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow safety and risk management protocols.
- Participate in emergency after-hours on-call duties.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal.
- Build positive relationships with residents and partners.
- Maintain professionalism and appearance.
- Adhere to risk management policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year in property management or related field.
- General maintenance and carpentry skills.
- Valid driver’s license, clean record, auto insurance.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and understanding.
- Ability to use office equipment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization and multitasking skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance.
- Complete required diversity and inclusion training within 30 days.
