This role is critical in supporting production through preventative maintenance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment is calibrated and functioning to specification. The key metrics of success are summarized by SQDEP+. Safety, Quality, Delivery, Equipment, and Productivity. The (+) represents non-tangible and/or environmental attributes that are difficult to measure such as employee engagement, organization wide culture, and other similar impactful elements of a healthy work culture. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Maintenance Technician may oversee improvement or repair initiatives both in collaboration with other business leaders, or independently as the sole advocate.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing production environment is preferred.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking 8-10 hours depending on the task.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach up to 50lbs. at a time.
• The use of approved Safety Glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots are required. Gloves and other PPE may be required depending on certain tasks assigned.
