Job summary

Episcopal Homes of Minnesota in St. Paul, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. Wage is $21.00-$27.00/hr DOE.

Schedule is Day Shift 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., full-time with on-call responsibilities. You will perform general maintenance across trades, implement preventive programs, handle work orders in CMMS, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include pool system and HVAC maintenance, project support, budgeting input, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of general maintenance experience, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting and flooring.
• Implement preventative maintenance to extend facility systems life.
• Receive, prioritize and complete maintenance work orders with CMMS.
• Conduct safety/compliance inspections per senior living/healthcare regs.
• Maintain and repair pool systems, HVAC, cooling towers and chillers.
• Assist with project planning, installations, and facility upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for specialized repairs; participate in budgeting.
• Provide emergency response as part of on-call rotation.
