Job summary

Wyndham Garden Sacramento is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to ensure our facilities operate efficiently. You will perform routine upkeep on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, inspect for damage, and complete repairs to keep guest spaces safe and comfortable.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a strong work ethic, great communication, and the ability to respond to on-call requests during nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• On-call availability nights and weekends.
• Strong work ethic, communication, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs.
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs.
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.
