SDK Apartments SM is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Delran, NJ. This full-time role requires on-call and snow removal duties, and focuses on ensuring resident safety and excellent condition across our communities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and turnovers; install or replace equipment; and perform carpentry, tiling and painting as needed. On-call requirements apply after hours to address urgent resident matters.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years progressive building maintenance experience.
• EPA/HVAC license is a plus.
• Skilled in plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, drywall repair.

• Collaborate with the property team to maintain a safe community.
• Assist with routine grounds and snow removal when needed.
• Address ad hoc projects as assigned.

SDK Tenby Chase is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Maintenance Technician to join our committed team dedicated to ensuring the safety and excellent condition of our community.

This is a full-time position based in Delran, NJ, with mandatory on-call and snow removal hours.

About the Position

• Model behavior that is aligned with SDK values when interacting with anyone associated with SDK.
• Complete assigned work orders effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure preventive and regularly scheduled maintenance procedures are completed.
• Ensure all procedures related to apartment unit turnovers are completed in a timely manner.
• Install, replace or repair damaged or new equipment and appliances.
• Complete carpentry, tiling and painting as needed.
• Be on-call to address urgent resident matters after regular work hours.
• Aim to resolve service requests within 24 hours, as much as possible, following established work order procedures; communicate effectively with the team on progress and roadblocks.
• Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready status, and work in progress items.
• Collaborate with the property team members to maintain a safe community.
• When needed, be responsible for routine grounds and property maintenance, including but not limited to, trash removal, general cleaning and snow removal.
• Address ad hoc projects as assigned.

About Your Professional Background & Skills

• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive building maintenance experience, preferably in a multifamily environment.
• Related licenses is a plus (e.g., EPA/HVAC).
• Skilled in general plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, dry-wall repair, and snow removal.
• Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and follow through skills.
• Available for on-call emergency services on an as-needed basis.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Possess stellar references and stable work history.
• Must be able to work with any employer in the US without any restrictions whatsoever.

The annualized gross hourly rate for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 plus bonus eligibility. The actual compensation within the range will be based on factors unique to the candidate, including direct years of experience and depth of knowledge.
