CBRC Health & Fitness is seeking a skilled, dependable, and solutions-oriented Maintenance Technician to help care for our large and diverse health and fitness facility.
If you are the kind of person who notices when something isn't working properly, enjoys figuring out how to fix it, and takes pride in keeping a facility safe, functional, and looking its best, we would love to hear from you.
At CBRC, our core purpose is building a community and inspiring healthier lives. Our Maintenance team plays an essential role in making that possible by maintaining the buildings, equipment, systems, and outdoor spaces our members and employees depend on every day.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and facility improvement projects throughout CBRC.
This is a full-time, hands-on position supporting a large facility with a variety of environments and operating systems. The work may range from repairing a door or plumbing fixture one hour to troubleshooting equipment, completing a preventive maintenance inspection, supporting pool-related systems, or working on an outdoor project the next.
We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, resourceful, organized, and comfortable working independently. Just as importantly, we need someone who understands that maintaining a health and fitness facility means working around members and employees and providing professional, responsive service.
The ideal Maintenance Technician is a practical problem-solver who enjoys variety and takes ownership of their work.
You don't need to be a licensed expert in every trade. You do need a strong general understanding of building maintenance, the ability to troubleshoot problems, and good judgment about what you can safely repair yourself and when a specialized professional should be called.

Pay range: $18.50-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and technical skills.
Candidates with relevant commercial facility experience and skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool systems, mechanical equipment, or other applicable trades may qualify toward the higher end of the range.
A great facility doesn't happen by accident.
Every day, CBRC members depend on countless things working the way they should-from lights, doors, showers, and plumbing to fitness equipment, pools, heating and cooling systems, courts, and outdoor spaces.
Our Maintenance Technician has a direct impact on nearly every member and employee in the building, even when the work happens behind the scenes.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, likes solving problems, and wants to see the results of their work every day. No two days will be exactly alike, and there will always be something to maintain, improve, troubleshoot, or build.
Most importantly, you'll be part of a team that understands a well-maintained facility contributes directly to the safe, welcoming experience we want every CBRC member to have.
If you are dependable, mechanically inclined, take pride in quality work, and enjoy solving problems, we'd love to have you on the CBRC team.
