Job summary

Guardian Glass in Richburg, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment on a 12-hour rotating shift (days and nights). The role involves diverse maintenance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and basic fabrication tasks.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in an industrial maintenance environment and 1 year with industrial electrical systems; 3+ years preferred, with electrical troubleshooting, fabrication experience, and a relevant

• 1 year or more experience in an industrial manufacturing environment in a maintenance technician role.
• 1 year or more experience working with industrial electrical systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting, and fabrication experience.
• An Industrial Maintenance degree or similar education.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified maintenance to production machines and plant facilities across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Perform basic fabrication duties and responsibilities such as welding, cutting and forming.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust with limited experience.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Comply with safety and environmental regulations and maintain a clean work area.

Competitive pay starting at $32 - $38 per hour depending on experience.

What You Will Do

• Perform highly diversified maintenance to production machines and plant facility’s equipment, on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic for both troubleshooting and repairs
• Perform basic fabrication duties and responsibilities (welding, cutting, forming)
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust with limited operational experience
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
• Read and interpret a wide range of electrical schematics and mechanical system drawings
• Comply with all safety & environmental regulations, maintain a clean and orderly work area and wear all required safety equipment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 1 year or more experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment in a maintenance technician role
• 1 year or more experience working with industrial electrical systems

What Will Put You Ahead

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Electrical troubleshooting, and fabrication experience
• An Industrial Maintenance degree or similar education
• 1 year or more experience with pneumatic and mechanical systems
