The Mechanical & Robotics Technician supports operations and maintenance teams by installing, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment within a high-volume facility. This role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, contribute to a culture of safety, and maintain accurate documentation and inventory control.

This role is based in a dynamic operations facility where you may stand and walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation, and move items weighing up to 49 pounds. Working conditions can include small spaces, dust, fumes, odors, hot and cold temperatures both inside and outside, noise, vibration, standing on concrete for extended periods, and wet or uneven surfaces. The position involves repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking, as well as lifting parts and tools averaging 20 pounds and occasionally up to 49 pounds. You will use fine motor skills and dexterity in eye-hand coordination, foot pedals, manual picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and wrist motion with repetitive flexion and rotation. The environment is hands-on, fast-paced, and safety-focused, with regular use of tools and equipment typical of industrial maintenance and robotics operations.
This is a Contract position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
