Job summary

CRM Residential is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our residential community in Philadelphia. You’ll perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and other building needs to keep common areas safe and well‑maintained.

You’ll inspect buildings, assist with unit turns, respond to maintenance requests, and follow safety procedures while delivering professional, courteous service to residents. This is a full‑time, on‑site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute.
• Commercial or multi‑unit residential maintenance experience preferred.
• Specialized skills or current license in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders and basic repairs.

What You’ll Do

• Complete maintenance work orders and basic repairs
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical, and other building maintenance needs
• Help prepare and clean vacant apartments
• Inspect and maintain buildings, grounds, common areas, and equipment
• Assist with property and unit inspections

• Follow all company and workplace safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement
• Previous commercial or multi‑unit residential maintenance experience preferred
• Specialized skills and/or current license or certification in at least one trade such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, fire protection, or mechanical
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, organization, and customer‑service skills
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, use ladders, and perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 55 pounds
