Maintenance Technician Compensation

• Pay Rate: $24.00–$27.00/hr

• Schedule: 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)

  • Must be flexible to cover 2nd shift or weekend work as needed

• Location: Onsite in Pendergrass, GA

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Take direction from senior technicians and field planners for work orders and preventive maintenance tasks

• Perform general maintenance tasks including lubrication, inspections, and basic equipment repair

• Ensure safe work practices, obtain permits, and follow DSM SHE and OSHA safety protocols

• Participate in meetings and report maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and parts needs

• Help enforce GMP, ISO 9001, and FAMI-QS compliance across operations

• Communicate with production to identify and resolve issues

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards

• Identify and act on opportunities to improve operations, safety, and performance

• Support rotating production schedules and be available for overtime and occasional call-ins

Maintenance Technician Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience required

• Skills/Knowledge:

  • Mechanical, electrical, operational, and welding knowledge

  • Experience in blend plant or manufacturing equipment maintenance

  • Familiarity with safety and maintenance procedures

  • Ability to read measurements, use hand tools, and follow SOPs

  • Good communication, organization, and teamwork skills

  • Comfortable using computers and digital maintenance tracking systems
