Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Pecatonica, IL plant on the 3rd shift. You will support the Maintenance team by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, following blueprints and procedures, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience following documented instructions and working in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to work overtime, weekends, or other shifts as needed.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends; willingness to work other shifts.

Job Description:

About the Role: The Maintenance Technician role at the Pecatonica location provides 3rd shift support to the Maintenance team, driving and supporting key initiatives to drive efficient production in the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
• Follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation
• Follow appropriate practices and procedures
• Responsibility for recognizing and reporting people safety, food safety, and/or quality issues

Important details:

Pay for this position is $32.18/hr based on the union contract and is on A-shift from 12:00am-8:00am.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
• The ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary
• The ability to work other shifts if needed
