Job summary

Wolverine Fuels, LLC is seeking an underground and surface maintenance professional for Fossil Rock in Utah. Safely perform maintenance tasks while supporting safety and health goals across operations.

The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and offers a 4 on, 4 off rotation. Ideal candidates have mining maintenance experience and can read schematics; technical degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Industrial/mining maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and health goals and objectives of Canyon Fuel Company, LLC.
• Perform maintenance tasks in a manner that maximizes safety and efficiency.
• Comply with Federal and State regulations.
• Work effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Effective communications (oral and written).
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to traverse uneven surfaces, work overhead, climb and use hand tools on a regular basis.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and extending.
• Ability to work in damp, and somewhat dark environment associated with an underground coal mine.

• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and extending
• Ability to work in damp, and somewhat dark environment associated with an underground coal mine

Preferred Education And Experience

• Industrial/mining maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to comprehend equipment schematics, blueprints
• Technical degree will be considered a plus
• MSHA low, medium and high voltage electrical certification of the ability to obtain
• Proficient use of hand tools associated with maintenance activities

POSITION WILL REPORT TO:

Maintenance Supervisor

Fossil Rock is a 7-day a week operation and will be a 4 on 4 off rotation as the mine continues to grow. Initial parking is sparse and will move into remote parking location for transportation to and from Fossil Rock.
