Job summary

Envolve Community Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician at one of our apartment communities in Indianapolis, IN. You will repair appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures and plumbing, perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders with proper documentation.

The ideal candidate has HVAC certification with at least 3 years of maintenance experience, can handle emergency calls, and is able to work 8:00 am–5:00 pm with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and a minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Ability to move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
• Must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7.
• Normal work hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks and basic carpentry.
• Apply HVAC, plumbing and electrical system skills to maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders with proper documentation.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with routine tasks and emergency calls.
• Commit to exceptional customer service at all times.

Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, basic carpentry and any general maintenance repairs that may arise.
• Apply specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and required forms to ensure all documentation regarding maintenance operations is properly recorded.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with routine tasks and emergency calls.
• Commit to exceptional customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has HVAC certification and a minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
• Must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Normal work hours are usually between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday–Friday (may vary slightly based on season) with occasional overtime required.
• Background screening and drug test are required.
