Job summary

Brookdale in Olympia, WA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our senior living communities safe, clean and functional. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, landscaping, and kitchen equipment to meet regulations and resident expectations.

Collaborating with community directors and residents, you will respond to maintenance requests, document work performed, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Qualifications

Requirements to be a Maintenance Technician: Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment. Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas. They will also maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community.
