Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities in top condition, maintaining interior and exterior spaces for residents and guests in accordance with current regulations.

You will handle HVAC, elevator, and various equipment, respond to maintenance requests from directors and residents, and work with local fire marshal and inspectors to ensure safety and compliance across the community.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds to meet residents' expectations and comply with current federal, state and local regulations and company policies.
• Respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents and coordinate with local fire marshal and building inspectors as required.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Qualifications

Requirements to be a Maintenance Technician: Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment. Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas. They will also maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community.
