Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining buildings, equipment, and related facilities to ensure maximum production quality and quantity. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of electrical, air, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair them effectively.

1. Implement and maintain preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery according to manufacturer guidelines.
2. Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions; communicate issues to operations staff; ensure safety procedures are followed (lockout/tagout, etc.).
3. Diagnose problems, dismantle defective machinery, and install repaired or new parts following blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
4. Perform building maintenance tasks such as lighting repairs, plumbing, and refrigeration system maintenance.
5. Repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
6. Follow all safety regulations diligently.
7. Work until relieved by a supervisor or manager, which may require working beyond scheduled hours.
8. Complete additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic circuits, and machinery.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and applying algebra/trigonometry.
• Experience with electrical testing instruments (meters).
