Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Vesta Realty is seeking a talented Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure our community's buildings and systems are in optimal condition. This on-site role involves supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and team in addressing work orders, preventative maintenance, and delivering excellent resident service.

Responsibilities

1. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
2. Conduct property inspections and regular groundskeeping to maintain cleanliness and safety.
3. Perform maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
4. Assist with unit turnovers to ensure apartments are move-in ready.
5. Maintain tools and equipment, and support preventative maintenance schedules.
6. Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
7. Provide courteous service to residents and staff, and report major issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
8. Familiarize with safety and emergency equipment locations.
9. Conduct inspections of property systems and grounds regularly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training is a plus.
• Experience in property management maintenance preferred.
• Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• EPA and CPO certifications are preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with property management software, Microsoft Office, and Gsuite.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to be on-call and adjust work schedules as needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective reading and interpretation of blueprints and specifications.

This position is not remote; it requires on-site presence at our Oklahoma City location.
