Job summary

Paycom seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair tasks in our New Mexico facility. The role requires extensive hands-on knowledge across carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related trades to keep equipment and spaces safe and functional.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to operate company vehicles and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; five (5) years experience in Maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge in carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.

The Maintenance Technician performs all general maintenance and repair functions within the approved guidelines and as directed. Individual must have extensive knowledge of all aspects of Maintenance job duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive knowledge of carpentry

• Extensive knowledge of plumbing
• Extensive knowledge of electrical
• Extensive knowledge of carpet laying
• Extensive knowledge of tile work
• Extensive knowledge of painting

• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA Standards and internal safety policies and procedures.
• Operates company vehicles as required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned.
• Supports the Maintenance department as needed and assigned.
• Responsible for use and care of tools and equipment.
• Must have a valid New Mexico Drivers License

Qualifications: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have five (5) years experience in Maintenance.

Subject to extreme temperatures, conditions and changes. Subject to stressful conditions during peak service hours, periods when employees have not arrived or are out sick. Subject to slips and falls on slippery floors, as well as crowded conditions in a stressful environment.
