Job summary

The Shores, a UMC Community in Ocean City, NJ, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for full-time, year-round maintenance. Choose one of three shifts: 9am–5pm, 11am–7pm, or 12pm–8pm, with pay that reflects experience. The site is a short walk from the beach, offering full benefits.

Responsibilities include repairing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other building problems; performing preventive maintenance; keeping logs; and tracking tools and supplies to ensure a well-stocked shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on repair experience in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing.
• Able to read work orders, safety labels, and equipment instructions.

Full-time, year-round maintenance work at The Shores in Ocean City, a short walk from the beach. Pick your shift: 9 to 5, 11 to 7, or 12 to 8. $17.49 to $18.65 an hour plus full benefits.

Who You'll Take Care Of

The Shores is home to seniors in independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehab. When a faucet leaks or a light goes out, you're the one who fixes it. You'll get to know residents by name, and they'll be glad to see you.

What You'll Do

• Fix electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other building problems

What You'll Need

Required:

Preferred:

• Maintenance experience in senior living, healthcare, hotels, or apartments
