He will seek out this knowledge by contacting the proper safety and environmental personnel.* Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor* It is the responsibility of all maintenance personnel to provide a basic set of tools and tool holder or bag. These tools should be with the technician at all times when performing maintenance functions. This position should allow the maintenance tech to work towards the Sr. Maintenance Technician position.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**Excellent health and physical condition. Jobs consist of repetitive motion with good range of motion involving bending, standing, walking, stooping, reaching and prolonged standing. Physical requirement of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Personal protective equipment required for particular jobs. Must be able to work in close proximity to high temperature molds and materials (290°F- 450°F). Must have forklift and valid driver license to operate company vehicles. Some telephone usage required.**MENTAL/VISUAL:**Communication – written/verbal skills, basic computer skills. Ability to work in stressful situations. Ability to recognize and respond to dangerous situations. Ability to work on own without daily instructions or constant supervision. Must be able to communicate both verbal and written. **WORKING CONDITIONS:**Will be required to work in plant – factory environment where there is some exposure to noise, dust, glass fibers, fumes, and heat. Must adhere to PPE requirements as defined in the safety manual when in the manufacturing area.
