Job summary

Dorman Products in Lewisberry, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform building, facilities and equipment maintenance. This role covers plumbing repairs, electrical tasks, and preventative maintenance to uphold safety and compliance within the facility.

The ideal candidate will have a safety-first mindset, a PA driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of general building, facilities and equipment maintenance repairs and services.
• Grounds keeping- within facility and outside the building including the property.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
• Replace washers, faucets and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment; repair leaky faucets and clean clogged drains, toilet repair.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
• Ensure mechanical and physical safeguards are used when performing equipment repair.
• Performs limited electrical installation and repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, and power circuits; repairs lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions.
• Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues on equipment and within the facility.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities.

Working knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used for completion of the described job duties
