Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a FLAVORS manufacturing company in the Northbrook, IL area, is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician to join their team! This is a great company and team!

Maintenance Technician Job Summary

Friday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM. $38+ per hour. Full benefits package, PTO, Holiday pay. Training will be on 1st or 2nd shift until you are ready for the weekend.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
• Safely install, modify, and upgrade plant equipment as required.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, and general building infrastructure as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, reporting potential issues before they escalate.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs.
• Follow all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Hot Work, and Electrical Safety Standards.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  
  

Maintenance Tech Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience working with 110V, 208V, and 460V three-phase electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding is highly desirable.
• Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
