As part of the Facilities Operations team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming spaces for our students, faculty, and staff. This position offers a chance to grow your skills in a supportive, purpose-focused environment while making a visible difference every day.
What You’ll Do
Perform maintenance and repairs across University buildings
Complete general construction tasks for special projects
Conduct plumbing, basic electrical, and carpentry repairs
Carry out preventative maintenance on buildings and systems
Respond to pager duty calls as assigned
Support seasonal snow removal and grounds maintenance
What You’ll Need
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry systems
Ability to work with a diverse campus community and external partners
Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team
Comfort using power tools and computer systems
Plumbing license ()

Work schedule: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Forty (40) hours per week (8:00 am-5:00 pm) will be the general rule. However, depending on the project cycles and workflow demands of the University, additional hours or workday schedule changes may be required occasionally.
