About the Role:
Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to help us maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our guests and team members. From guest rooms to public spaces and grounds, your work will make a real impact every day.
What You’ll Do:
As a valued part of our operations team, you’ll take on a variety of tasks, including:
Performing scheduled preventive maintenance (like "room care" tasks).
Responding to and completing work orders from guests and staff.
Assisting with repairs to electrical systems, A/C units, lighting, TVs, and more.
Handling routine fixes on appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing, laundry machines, and kitchen equipment.
Maintaining the pool – from adjusting chemicals to cleaning filters.
Refurbishing furniture, fixtures, and performing touch-up painting as needed.
Operating power tools and equipment for landscaping and seasonal ground care.
Keeping all grounds and outdoor spaces neat and trash-free.
Delivering friendly, helpful service in line with our Core Values.
Following safety protocols and reporting issues to management.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 6 months of general maintenance experience (hotel experience a plus!)
High school diploma or equivalent
Bonus points if you have certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly
Comfortable walking, bending, and standing throughout your shift
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
