Charles E. Smith Life Communities seeks a Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient operation and upkeep of building systems across our campus. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues, and maintain accurate records in our CMMS.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of maintenance experience. On-site schedule includes day shifts, with rotating weekends and on-call duties, in Rockville, MD.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient operation and upkeep of building systems and common areas. This role performs general maintenance, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting across building systems in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
