Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Newville, Cumberland County, responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and conducting preventive maintenance. About The Opportunity

This visible position is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production equipment and performing preventive maintenance following Menasha Packaging standards for quality and safety.

Essential Job Functions

• Repair and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in the set-up and tear down of production lines.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Inside and outside building maintenance.
• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.

Responsible for following and complying with Company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintaining quality work and product.

Education & Experience

High School Degree or Equivalent and/or three or more years of experience in Maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics knowledge required.

Mechanical aptitude. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Effective interpersonal skills, including listening.

Attributes desired include being self-motivated, assertive, self-starter, problem-solver and results driven.

Machines, Tools, Instruments, Equipment And Materials Used

PLC and Drive Controller. Equipment skills desired: knowledge of shrink wrap equipment, balers, heat tunnels, printers, glue machines, conveyors, carton sealer, stretch wrapper.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and carry items weighing 50+ lbs. regularly.
