Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our analog semiconductor production equipment operating at peak performance.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and mentor teammates across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on experience with building and factory systems, scheduled maintenance, and project coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an A.S. in air conditioning or 6 years equivalent experience.
• Basic plumbing and maintenance experience required.
• Experience with abatement systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Mentor and guide other technicians as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors for medium to large projects.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and maintain maintenance logs.
• Train operators in all areas of the job assignment.

Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to keep our operations running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring our electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatically controlled equipment is operating at peak performance. This role demands a proactive individual who can not only troubleshoot and repair but also mentor and guide other team members.

Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 12am - 12pm

This Job Is For You If

• You can work with minimum or no supervision, plan the necessary sequence of operations and methods when making major or minor repairs to building and/or factory systems and structures being guided by good trade practices, manufacturer’s specifications and safety standards.
• You can assist in the set up of scheduled maintenance on equipment including writing and modification of work instructions.
• You can perform special inspections and do the repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of building and factory systems, such as: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration System, Compressed Gas Equipment, Vacuum Systems, Ro/DI Systems, Electrical Systems, Monitoring and Control Systems, and Building Infrastructure.
• You can manage medium to large sized projects with minimal or no supervision as assigned by Management. This includes coordinating with contractors, locating necessary parts either onsite or through a vendor, creating parts list, ordering parts, and working with others to complete projects.
• You can make scheduled, routine inspections on building and factory support equipment and maintaining appropriate logs. Analyze inspection logs to identify possible equipment failures and take action to prevent failure.
• You can train other operators in all areas of the job assignment.
• You can use a wide variety of hand, power, test, measurement equipment, and machine tools.
• You can perform advanced repairs on air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical and other systems including their control components.
• You can perform miscellaneous related duties as required, including minor housekeeping of assigned work area.

Job Requirements

• Must have completed A.S. in air conditioning or other related field, or have a minimum of 6 years equivalent experience as described above.
• Basic plumbing and maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with abatement systems preferred.
