Job description

NARIK CONSULTING, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our client team. As a leading consulting firm, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional services to our clients. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.

  • Must work 12 hour rotating shifts- modified DuPont schedule. 1/2 Techs working days, 1/2 working rotating shift, but must be open to both.
  • Must be Multi-Craft (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics)
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience or 3 years experience and Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems, and make necessary repairs
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems and address them in a timely manner
  • Respond to maintenance requests from staff and address any issues promptly
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks as needed
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair techniques

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical training or certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform duties that may require standing, bending, and climbing for extended periods of time
