Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 12-hour night shift (5:45 PM–6:00 AM).

The role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on molding and related process equipment in a GMP environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree in electrical/mechanical fields or two years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Job Summary

Performs all maintenance related duties on process and ancillary equipment within the Molding and HVP process areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance
• Perform simple Machinist Duties as needed
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to equipment as needed based on priorities provided
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs and installation
• Complete repairs of process and support equipment
• Provide guidance to team members during repair or services
• Basic PLC referencing and computer skills
• Housekeeping duties as necessary
• Assist Engineering and Project team with installing systems
• Assist with writing and revising maintenance tasks
• Basic understanding of diagrams and drawings for troubleshooting
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Perform other duties as required

Education

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in electrical/mechanical field, electrical certificate, or minimum 2 years experience industrial maintenance preferred.

Work Experience

2 years experience industrial maintenance preferred. Machine shop experience a plus.

• Ability to read mechanical diagrams and schematics.

Shift

This shift is a 12 hour night shift position 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM 2-2-3-2 and is set up to have every other weekend off.
