Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team at an electronics manufacturer. You will keep our production equipment running smoothly and ensure product quality meets high standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of single and 3-phase electrical systems.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS and PLC systems.
• Experience with HVAC and safety compliance.
• High school diploma; technical degree preferred.
• CMRP certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Diagnose problems and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Use hand tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Follow safety rules and keep work areas clean.
• Use CMMS to track work orders and maintenance history.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and perform adjustments.
• Assist in training lower level technicians and operators.
• Participate in continuous improvement to boost quality.

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.

This is a permanent full-time role that operates during the night shift, ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Our Maintenance Technicians are integral to our manufacturing operations, ensuring our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, and our products meet the excellent standards our customers expect.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment to detect any malfunctions.
2. 2. Performing preventative maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
3. 3. Diagnosing problems and performing necessary repairs to equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
4. 4. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. 5. Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
6. 6. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
7. 7. Operating a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
8. 8. Troubleshooting PLC systems and making necessary adjustments or repairs.
9. 9. Assisting in the training of lower level technicians and operators as needed.
10. 10. Participating in continuous improvement activities to enhance team performance and product quality.

Qualifications

1. 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
2. 2. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
3. 3. Basic knowledge of single and 3-phase electrical systems.
4. 4. Deep understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
5. 5. Proficiency in using various tools, including lathe and mill.
6. 6. Familiarity with HVAC systems.
7. 7. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
8. 8. Knowledge of programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.
9. 9. Understanding of machine maintenance tech and pneumatics.
10. 10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. 11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
12. 12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. 13. High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
14. 14. Valid Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired.
