Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a Morrison, TN facility. RESPONSIBLE for maintaining and repairing production equipment, CNC machinery, and facility systems.

The role requires hands-on problem solving and strong diagnostic skills. The candidate should have 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, be able to troubleshoot across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and support 20+ machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on 20+ production machines.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machines and related equipment.
• Set up and adjust machinery for production operations.
• Perform machine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Repair hydraulic components, hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps.
• Maintain and troubleshoot air compressors and compressed air systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Assist with CNC programming and troubleshooting as needed.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a manufacturing facility in Morrison, TN. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, CNC machinery, facility systems, and supporting overall plant operations.

The successful candidate must have proven experience in industrial maintenance and machine repair, with all required skills clearly demonstrated through previous work history. This is a hands‑on position requiring a self-motivated individual who can troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with facility maintenance as needed.

Machine & Equipment Maintenance

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on 20+ production machines.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machines and related equipment.
• Set up and adjust machinery for production operations.
• Perform machine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Repair and replace hydraulic components, hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps.
• Maintain and troubleshoot air compressors and compressed air systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Assist with CNC machine programming and troubleshooting as needed.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.

Material Handling Equipment

• Conduct forklift maintenance inspections and safety checks.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on forklifts and other mobile equipment.

Facility Maintenance

• Perform general facility maintenance tasks including:
  • Changing light bulbs and fixtures
  • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Unclogging toilets and drains
  • Minor building repairs
  • Painting and upkeep as needed
• Assist with janitorial and housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Respond quickly to facility maintenance issues to minimize disruptions.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following through previous employment history:

• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining and repairing CNC machines.
• Experience supporting multiple machines in a manufacturing environment (20+ machines preferred).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, hoses, pumps, and compressed air systems.
• Experience setting up and maintaining production machinery.
• Knowledge of CNC machine operation and basic CNC programming.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Forklift maintenance and inspection experience.
• Facility maintenance experience, including basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Reliable work history with excellent attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance certification.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Manufacturing or machine shop experience.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems.
• OSHA safety training.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform both machine maintenance and facility maintenance tasks as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay of $25.00 per hour, with higher pay possible based on experience.
